Wow. That's sad. No point in pulling out the jaws of life if you wreck that new Demon. If you're going to remake the car---remake the car, not the name. I miss my old Demon, it would set fire to the streets, stop on a dime and hand out change. What a fine, simple car it was. It didn't need anything but the muscle.

Just required a green 71 dodge demon from a auction. Paid a very very very good price for her. The guy didn't take care of her.. she is rusted in the back ends, but interior is awesome. Restoring her and she will be the only demon in town. So game on and thanks for the info!

OMG!!! I am a BIG fan of the `71 Dodge Demon and what the heck was they thinking by doing this?? What happened to the basic roots of my Demon?
There is NOTHING that even remotely comes close to the original look of a Demon. What are they trying to reproduce ? THIS REALLY SUCKS !!!

Kind of a dumb review of 71 Demon...which was a duster...which was a swinger/dart from the b pillar forward. The new Demon is at least a dedicated design although the dodge 300, truck etc. grill looks goofy at best on a small car design from the nose back it looks like a 350Z...these people at Cerebrus are obviously idiots and going back to what killed GM and Chrysler...design by committee. Try to be everything to everybody and you end up being nothing to no body. The Crossfire was better looking by far and at least original.

whoever comes up with the new dodges as a serious lack of comprehending that we want a 2 door MUSCLE car. no frills just function and power. if i wanted frills i would buy a merceedes. so dodge if you ever see this take the challenger put the 6.1 in and manual everything else. we don't even need badging. look to the past. if someone bought high horsepower then that was all they wanted. people would buy your cars so much faster and you wouldn't be trying to outsource to india. you'd be competing with toyota. WHO MAKES MONEY!!!!!

They did a wonderful job with the 08/09 Challenger. I would love to see them retro the '71 Demon with the 5.7 or 6.1. that would be a ground pounding beast! They can make the Demon concept if they want, but they shouldn't call it a Demon.
