There are already many (and we mean many) pre-orders for the new Dodge Challenger. Those are cute and all, but how about a SMS 570TM Challenger or SMS 570XTM Challenger – meaning you could own a street legal SMS Supercharged 5.7L Hemi Challenger with 500 to over 700 horsepower!
Take a look at the press release below from Saleen, and be amazed how they stray from their Ford production history over to Dodge:

No price as of yet, you can probably double the retail of what the challenger is going for (estimated round 40,000) – wonder if they are going to make upgrade packages where you can send your regular challenger out to get worked on, like they do with the mustang gt

What kind of warranty does the car have, does it keep the factory lifetime powertrain? Do you offer a Warranty? Do you fiance, or does Chysler, Or do I have to get my own?

I’ve owned Saleen’s since 1989, Always had wonderful experiences with them…..as for Saleen service, take a pass. You find that many tech’s don’t realize there are Saleen’s built before 1999! Your on your own when it comes to repairs.
Interesting the article says many preorders are out there….I was just at a dealerships that probaly has half a dozen Hemi’s just sitting there waiting for buyers
Oh yeah, no Lifetime Power train warranty. Chrysler will finance. And this Dealership was willing to deal
where do you go to order? and are they really only making 500??
