The Reports of Dodge Viper’s Death Are Greatly Exaggerated
According to Chrysler brass, several interested third party automotive companies have approached The CDJ, showing interest in their Viper name. No automaker wants to extinguish a “heritage” model, especially such a niche product like the Viper (come on, it had its own TV Show!) According to Automotive News, Chrysler is looking into what we figure is the best financial option for keeping their Viper brand alive. How much money can they make on the deal? It all depends on who buys Viper and what that company expect to gain from this buy. Will Viper continue with the design and performance which has made this car a collector’s item since the early 1990’s? Will it be watered down to pander to a wider audience? Can’t wait and see what comes of this transaction.
