Kurt Busch Fired by Penske Dodge Racing Team

Kurt Busch has been fired from the Penske Dodge NASCAR race team. NASCAR fined Busch $50,000 just last week after he verbally abused an ESPN reporter. NASCAR has “cited a pattern of previous incidents with reporters for fining Busch.”

Busch has stated that he is seeing a psychologist, and that his recent actions were “inappropriate.”

Roger Penske decided that a race at Homestead-Miami Speedway would be Busch’s last, following the ESPN reporter incident, along with other temper flare-ups.

  1. Not the most unexpected news really, considering Busch’s temper tantrums and outbursts this season. But I doubt he’ll ever learn. Some people believe their own publicity!
